Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GMC Portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the portal.

User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Vehicle Registration & Fees

• All vehicle owners must register their vehicles on the portal.
• Fees and taxes must be paid as per the applicable rates and schedules.
• Failure to pay fees may result in penalties or legal action as per municipal regulations.

Challan Issuance

Challans are issued for violations of municipal regulations. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure compliance and timely payment of challans.

Payments

• All payments made through the portal are processed via secure payment gateways.
• Payment receipts are generated electronically and are valid proof of payment.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as per the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Prohibited Activities

• You may not use the portal for any unlawful purpose.
• You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the portal.
• You may not interfere with the proper functioning of the portal.

Limitation of Liability

Giridih Municipal Corporation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this portal.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and the state of Jharkhand.
